On April 26, 2024, Tashkent State Transport University hosted the first International Labor Fair in the field of transport and logistics. This landmark event aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry within the transport, economics, and logistics sectors, fostering collaboration on joint projects with prestigious international organizations and companies.
The fair witnessed participation from approximately 90 esteemed organizations from both domestic and international spheres. Notably, companies from Korea, Japan, Turkey, Singapore, China, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan were present, offering a plethora of job opportunities to the future workforce.
By noon, an impressive total of 398 students had successfully secured employment, signaling a significant achievement towards the fair’s goal of employing over 900 students. This event not only highlighted the vast opportunities in the transport and logistics sectors but also showcased the global interest in nurturing young talent in Uzbekistan.
