On May 15, 2024, TRIGGER project results of the WP2 on “Enhancing Entrepreneurship Education and Skills Development” were presented at the International Forum “Graduates’ professional development and employability: current labor market trends, challenges and opportunities” in Astana, Kazakhstan. Sandra Eitler, Reinhold Schodl and Johannes Wetzinger from the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna facilitated the panel session “Improving students’ entrepreneurial skills through entrepreneurship education programs”. The session focused on entrepreneurship education and the required entrepreneurial competences in Central Asia. In a first step, selected results from the Erasmus+ Project TRIGGER on the enhancement of entrepreneurship education were presented.
Ulugbek Israilov (Tashkent State Transport University, Uzbekistan), Armiyash Nurmagambetova (Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan) and Orzu Orifov (Kulob State University, Tajikistan) shared their experiences of further developing entrepreneurship education at their home institutions.
In a second step, an interactive discussion with all workshop participants was conducted, to map key entrepreneurial competences required in Central Asia.
